Rhonda Raburn Payne
Rhonda Raburn Payne went home with her Lord and Savior on November 21, 2022.

Rhonda was born in Amarillo, Texas on September 17, 1949, to Dr. and Mrs. R.F. Raburn.
She attended elementary and junior high school in Grants New Mexico and went on to complete high school at Randell High in Colorado and Wasatch Academy in Utah.
Rhonda married Charles Allen Payne in 1972. They had 3 daughters, Amber, Auvrey, and Ashley.
She lived in Amarillo until 1993 where she completed the LVN nursing program at Amarillo College and moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Rhonda had a love for reading, listening to music, and in her more recent years poetry writing.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Ashley Taylor Payne.
Rhonda is survived by her sister, Karen Thomasson; her brother, Thomas Raburn; her daughter, Amber Hughey and son-in-law, Robert Hughey; her daughter, Auvrey Clawson and son-in-law, Gerry Clawson; 7 grandchildren, Austen Scott, Brecken Scott, Hope Hughey, Farah Hughey, Brooklyn Hughey, Cooper Clawson, and Dessa Clawson; and 2 great-grandchildren, Paisleigh Scott and Preston Scott.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to a suicide prevention charity.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
