Ricardo Alfred Mendoza, 54, of Amarillo, TX died September 16, 2021.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Ricardo was born November 11, 1966, in San Angelo, TX to Miguel and Gavina Mendoza Sr.  He loved to watch WWE, Dallas Cowboy games, spending time with nieces and nephews, taking pictures of his family, and shooting pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Gavina Mendoza; brothers, Thomas, Tony, Victor, Freddie, and Juan Mendoza; brother-in-law, Manuel Estrada; niece, Lisa Martinez; and sister, Katie Gonzalez.

Survivors include brothers, Miguel Mendoza Jr. of San Angelo, TX, Martin Mendoza and wife Tonya, and Albert Mendoza and wife Leslie, all of Portales, NM, and Benny Mendoza and wife Christina of Clovis, NM; sisters, Mary Estrada and Gracie Zubia, both of Dumas, TX, Vivian Martinez and husband Frank, of Amarillo, TX, and Gloria Rodriguez, of Portales, NM; stepmom, Alejandra Mendoza, of Portales, NM; aunt, Candy Mendoza, of San Angelo, TX.
