Richard Collin Stafford

 

Richard Collin Stafford, age 59, of Amarillo, TX passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

Collin was born on  July 26, 1963 in Amarillo, Texas to Carroll and Lucille Stafford.  Collin graduated from Tascosa High School in 1981.  He attended Texas A&M University before beginning a career in construction.

A talented carpenter, Collin worked in Atlanta, Georgia, and Austin, Texas before returning to Amarillo.  For the past several years, he was self-employed and was caring for his elderly parents at the time of his death.

He is survived by his parents, Carroll and Lucille Stafford of Amarillo, and brothers Charlie (Penny) of Rogers, Arkansas,  and Joe (Lee) of Amarillo, niece, Katie Beth McCallie (Cade), and nephews, Peyton and Tristan Stafford.

Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount.

  1. Love this picture of Collin. I’ll never forget coming over to the Stafford’s house on Cedar street when we were little, and the three Parish girls racing the three Stafford boys in the front yard. I last spoke to Collin at Mom and Dad’s house, and he had brought his sweet buddy, Bella, along. My heart i s with Carroll, Lucy, Charlie, Joe, and the rest of the Stafford family today. Love y’all.

  3. I am so sorry for the family’s loss. Collin was such a sweet guy. We were in the same homeroom in high school. Had lots of fun times. Praying for you all!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
