Rick and Yolanda “Yoli” combined their families on July 13, 2007, and spent 15 wonderful years as husband and wife. While Rick was successful in many areas of his life, his biggest success was the love he had for his incredible family. Rick could most often be found hosting large family gatherings filled with love and a batch of his spicy salsa.

Rick had a great smile,

and his infectious laughter would often fill the room during family tamale-making or Peanut card tournaments. Rick enjoyed playing billiards, was an avid Cowboys fan, and loved traveling across the country with his wife making lifelong memories.

  1. Prayers for the family Katie and Andy how you dad loved you kids. I played Scotch Doubles with him in 2000. We had some great times we actually won 1st place that year. I will miss him even though we lost connection after I left the billiard world. To good time Rick. May the lord keep the family and you grief the memories of this great legacy.

  2. Dear Yolanda and family, Deryl, Don, LaFonda, and all of the McClenagan and McAlister family and friends,
You have my deepest sympathy. We have known Ricky and your family since 1975 and we grieve with you. I know that Sammy O’Dell, my late husband who passed away in November 2020, would be greatly saddened. He enjoyed playing basketball and other sports with the McClenagans and having wonderful fellowship and conversations. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Julia O’Dell and family

  3. Yoli- what I loved most about Rick are the two traits noted here. His palpable love for his family, and that Rick laugh. Many prayers for you and your family for healing and peace. I love you friend.

    Wendy
