Rito "Elvis" Carrasco, Jr.-May 23, 2011

Rito “Elvis” Carrasco, Jr., 47, of Amarillo, died May 23, 2011.
Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Gomez officiating.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Mr. Carrasco was born on May 28, 1963 in Amarillo to Angie and Rito Carrasco.  He graduated from Caprock High School and had worked in construction.  Mr. Carrasco loved Elvis Presley and he liked the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo “Nosey” Carrasco and Jesse “Gordo” Carrasco; one sister, Helen Carrasco Garcia; and his brother-in-law, Ricky Garcia.
Mr. Carrasco is survived by two daughters, Marcella Carrasco and Pirscilla Carrasco; one son, Phillip Carrasco and wife Georgina; his parents, Rito and Angie Carrasco; two sisters, Rita Ballin and husband Danny and Pat Carrasco; one brother, Johnny Carrasco, all of Amarillo; eleven grandchildren; thirteen nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Linette Mendoza, Becky Herrera and everyone else who has been helping.
