Robert L. Ricci, 90, of Amarillo, TX passed away on April 24, 2022.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 29, 2022, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Larry White officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Robert was born in Buckner, IL on November 15, 1931, to Victoria and Armando Ricci. He served in the United States Air Force 21 years attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a jet engine instructor and mechanic. He completed tours in England, Germany, and Vietnam.
Robert married the love of his life, Jerry Flake, in Amarillo, TX on February 12, 1960. They enjoyed 62 years of a loving marriage. He was a devout Christian who loved God, country, and family. He enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, skiing, and golf. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Truth-seekers Sunday school class.
He is survived by his wife, Jerry Ricci, of the home; son, David Ricci and wife Anne, of Dallas, TX; daughter, Rena Tate and husband Tal, of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Carly Ricci, Molly Barnes and husband Tim , Mallory Frick and husband Jason, Zack Weber, Allison Moore and husband Austin, Samantha Horton; great-grandchildren, Adlee, Ford, Charlie, Gatlin, and Parker; sister-in-law, Kathy Sutherlin and husband Keith; brother-in-law, Jack Flake and wife Rhee; and many nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Autism Speaks or charity of your choice.
