  1. Dear Robin and Debbie,

I was there at the airport in Vienna when you came to Slovakia. I took you back a few years later when you left Slovakia and went home to the US. We became great and close friends. You became so precious to my heart. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for both of you. You served here in Slovakia with Christ’s love and truth so passionately and beautifully that I have no doubts that God’s grace and glory were revealed through your lives and ministry and the Creator was glorified. I am sure that the Lord Jesus has beautiful rewards prepared for both of you. Robin, you are in heavenly home now in the presence of the King of kings and the Lord of lords and we rejoice that the day is coming when we meet you again. Debbie, you continue running the race of faith in this world, so I pray for God’s strength, peace, comfort, encouragement and empowerment for you. Thank you Debbie that you have been faithful, loving and supportive wife to your husband Robin for all those years of your marriage. It was always joy to visit you, work, pray and serve with you when you lived in a small country of Slovakia where you came with huge hearts full of love for God and all people you met here.

  2. Robin was a great friend and mentor. I can’t even imagine what direction my life would have taken without him and Debbie. I was deeply saddened by his departure, but I also rejoice that it is only temporary and that we will meet up again soon upon our Lord’s return.

  3. On behalf of the Trenčín Church and all the Slovak people who were deeply blessed by Robin’s and Debbie’s ministry we want to express our condolences to you, dearest Debbie and all the Rushing Family, with a prayer that God of all comfort will be your Refuge and Comfort at this sad time of Robin’s passing to heaven. Words would fail us if attempted to describe what his ministry meant to us and to so many here in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. So many lives touched, so many souls awakened to the reality of Jesus calling them to Himself! Thank you both for all your sacrifices, for being such dedicated servants! Debbie, we are joining you in your mourning as well as in the hope of a glorious reunion with Robin and all who love Jesus Christ one day.
    Maranatha!

  4. We were saddened to hear of Robin’s passing, but rejoicing for his presence with the Lord. We continue to pray for Debbie, Chance and the rest of his family that the Lord will comfort them in these difficult times. A true defender of the faith, Robin was one of my favorite Christian apologetics colleagues with a genius for sharing his brilliant biblical & scientific insights with others. We will miss him greatly.

  5. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Robin was always so kind to me and he was faithful to encourage me on a nearly weekly basis over the worship music when we were at the same church. I know he will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched.

  6. I am so saddened to hear of Robin’s passing but glad he is now made whole and sitting in the presence of the heavenly Father. We are praying Debbie, Chance, and the family will know God’s comfort, love, strength, and have wisdom for future decisions. He was a wonderful friend, enjoyed talking about NASA and space things with Rudy, and gave us so much help understanding our bodies and what supplements to help what was ailing us. We will miss him.
