Ronnie Terry, 56, of Amarillo, TX died Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel in Amarillo, Texas.  Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford, TX.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Ronnie was born December 7, 1965, in Memphis, TX to Joseph and Lee Fern Terry.

He was a proud father to his four sons.

During his youth, Ronnie played football at Hereford High School.   He was a fan of football and followed the Dallas Cowboys, and the USFL, of which his son, Paul was a player.

On October 17, 1983, he married Linda Sermino in Hereford, TX.

Ronnie enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley Davidson, and watching Western movies, but most of all, he loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lee Fern Terry.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Terry; sons, Ryan Terry, Ronnie Jordan Terry and wife Lauren, Philip Terry, and Paul Terry; siblings, Harold Terry, Joe Terry, Alfred Terry, Jackie Terry, and Sharon Terry; grandchildren, Adelyn, Eloise, and Ian Terry; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

  2. Ronnie was a great person to work with, always friendly and a pleasure to be around. I also enjoyed playing golf with him a few times. Best wishes to all his family! He’ll be missed by everyone who knew him.

  10. Linda and family. My deepest condolences , I was very blessed to have been able to work with Ronnie for so many years. I can still remember his laughs and him talking about his boys. He was a good team player and loved to go to the tournaments that involved the other people at the plant. He will be greatly missed.

    It has been a pleasure to work with Ronnie for the last 7 years. My favorite part of coming to Amarillo was the opportunity to have dinner on occasion with you and Ronnie. I will miss the great conversation and his friendship. I can be confident through my interactions with Ronnie that he is home with our Savior. He was a man of Faith and demonstrated that in how he treated others with respect.

I worked with Ronnie many years at Tyson and even with the authority he had earned he always treated me with high respect. We will truly miss his kindness and knowledge.
