Russell Todd Shufelberger

Russell Todd Shufelberger, 60, of Amarillo, TX died Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Memorial services will be at 9:00 a.m., Friday, July 28, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Russell was born August 8, 1962, to Carl and Shirley Shufelberger.

Russell was an interior designer and worked for Heath’s Interior Designs and Huneke Furniture.

His family all agree that he was unapologetically himself, and a real class act.  He was a loving, generous, and caring person.  If anyone needed anything, he would give everything, including the shirt off his back.  His daughter, Clarissa was his world, and he loved being a father-in-law.  Russell was a wonderful dad and grandpa, and he cherished all the time spent with his family and his sweet grandkids.  He was a fighter, having survived cancer.

He enjoyed chess, history, Star Trek, and Star Wars.  He was extremely smart and loved to debate.  Russell had a heart for animals, especially strays.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Maurice Shufleberger; nephew, Eric Shufleberger; his beloved cat, Sydney; and granddog, Jake.

Survivors include his daughter, Clarissa Williams and husband Damion; grandchildren, Isaiah Williams and his girlfriend, Shelby Osborne, Lauren Williams, and Laney Williams; his brother, Carl Shufelberger and wife Geri; dearest friends, Laurie Rojas, Rochelle Knotts,  and Robert Boothe; several extended family members; granddog, Baxter; great-granddog, Sugar; and his cat, Jackson.
