Ruth Janette Vatole, 64, of Amarillo, TX died Monday, November 13, 2023.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Christian Keathley of Messiah’s House will officiate.
Ruth was born December 1, 1958, in Amarillo, TX to Herbert and Gracie Morton. She married Gerald “Jerry” Dale Vatole on January 2, 1992. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1996. She worked 30 years at Tyson.
She also was preceded in death by her brother, Jesse Lynn “J.L.” in 1992; and her sister, Brenda Louise Kirchman.
Survivors include her sister, Judy Fraze and husband David of Tyler, TX; a brother, Eugene Morton and wife Debbie, of Amarillo, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
