Salina Faye Suarez, 37, of Amarillo, TX died unexpectedly September 10, 2020.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 16, 2020, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Mass will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 17, 2020, at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Father Shane Wieck celebrating. Burial will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Salina was born February 5, 1983 in Hereford, TX. to Arthur and Susie Ybarra. She graduated from Caprock High School in Amarillo TX in 2001. She worked hard and loved her job as an academy trainer at Walmart. She enjoyed being a mom the most and being their #1 fan, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, helping others, her job, listening to country while spending time with her spouse and going to Water Still.

She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Ybarra.

Salina is survived by her mother, Susie Ybarra; boyfriend, Tyler Castagnetta; children, Celeste, Adrian, Alex and Adam Mendoza; brother, Ronnie Ybarra and wife Sonja; and nieces and nephews, Sean Ybarra, Jason Ybarra, Destiny Ybarra and Mia Ybarra.

  1. My deepest condolences to the family of Salina, especially her children. I had the opportunity to worked with her at Region 16 and saw her working hard at Wal Mart. She was a sweet person with a big heart and smile and always talked about her children. She loved very much.
    May the Lord Jesus Christ receive her in his loving arms . May perpetual light always shine bright on Salina. RIP
