Salvador “Sal” Bustillos, 69, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on October 22, 2023.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Llano Cemetery with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Sal was born in Amarillo, Texas on June 28, 1954, to Lupe and Felix Bustillos.
Sal worked for J. Lee Milligan for around 5 years, Office Wise for 8 years, Sears, and he ended his working career owning his own landscape company. He enjoyed cooking, doing puzzles, and working in his yard. Sal loved his cats; he had one at the time of his passing named Roxie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Otila Gonzalez; half-brother, David; and sister-in-law, Yvette Bustillos.
He is survived by his friend, Stephen Everitt; sisters, Susan Chavez and husband Felix, and Janie Saucedo and husband Ernest; brother, Felix Bustillos; half-siblings, Tony, Ismael, Fernando, Barbara, Becky, and Sarah; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
