Sandra Ann Pickens, 73, of Amarillo, TX went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 5, 2021.  She is now walking, talking, and dancing in Heaven.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Sandra was born April 9, 1947, in Amarillo, TX to Virgil and Lucy Gooding.

She graduated from Tascosa High School.  Sandra loved dancing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She was a very selfless woman and loved everyone as family.  She never met a stranger.  Sandra loved shopping and talking long hours on the phone with her best friends. One of her main purposes in life was to make everyone feel loved and wanted. She was a very fearless and strong woman.  Sandra dedicated her life to her daughter and the time they spent together.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include a daughter, Amy Serrurier and husband Brent, of Amarillo; former husband, Jerry Don Pickens; and her granddogs.

    On the phone. She could make me laugh so much!

  5. Sandra my heart aches for the time we will see each other again.. Amy, Thank You for taking such great care of this precious friend for the past 11 years. She loved you more than life… We have all missed her for the past years, but what a celebration we will have in heaven.
