Sharon “Ski” Hollingsworth, 76, of Amarillo, TX passed away on November 14, 2022.
Memorial services will be at 4:00 P.M., Thursday, November 17, 2022, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Greg Corona officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Sharon was born in Burbank, CA on August 6, 1946, to Doris and Donald Johnson. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1964 and then attended Amarillo College.
Sharon had modeled for Colbert’s Clothing Store, and she had worked for Randall County in the tax office for over 26 years and retired as the Randall County Tax Collector.
Sharon loved horses and belonged to the AQHA. She loved the mountains and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, James Lewis Hollingsworth.

She is survived by her son, Todd Hollingsworth and wife Courtney, of Lubbock, TX; daughter, Jaimi Hollingsworth and husband Jeff Butler, of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Jaycie Suggs, Justis Suggs and fiancé Jacob Lucero, J.T. Suggs, Bailey Robinson and husband Trevor, and Avery Welch; and great-grandchildren, Jakxtyn and Riley.

  2. Wonderful person and lady. I enjoyed my years working with her in Randall County, when I was Justice of the Peace. She always had an infectious sense of humor.

  3. Sharon and I went to High School and Amarillo College together. She was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. I didn’t see her much after that , other than kids sports games in their early years and later we would run into each other at different places, mostly at the grocery store. My Prayers are with each of you for peace and comfort knowing she is in a better place.

  4. I am so very sorry that you guys have lost Sharon. Underneath her struggles, I was able to see her care for others and that smile. May God hold you in the palm of his hand and comfort you all.
