
Shawn Darin Burrow, 53, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, April 10, 2022.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Sheldon Devries of Journey Church officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Shawn was born May 27, 1968, in Amarillo, TX to Grady and Deanie Burrow.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Mills Burrow, father, Grady Burrow; and stepson, Billy Comey Carney.
Shawn loved fishing and watching NASCAR. His favorite pastime was sitting on his front porch at the lake watching his dogs chase cars and birds.
Shawn loved working with his hands and spent most of his time working construction. He loved talking and meeting new people and was always willing to help a friend in need.
To his nieces and nephews, he was Uncle Dude and they loved him dearly. To his great-nephew he was Uncle Uncle Dude!
Survivors include his mother, Deanie Rannals and husband Gene, of Amarillo, TX; father, Kenneth Cochran and wife Roxanne, of Palestine, TX; a sister, Dena Hair and husband Cliff, of Amarillo, TX; a brother, Chad Burrow, of Amarillo, TX; and stepdaughter, Crystal Bishop and husband Andrew, of Dover, DE.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to BSA Hospice of the Southwest, 5211 SW 9th, Ste. 100, Amarillo, TX 79106.
Rest in peace, Shawn. It was a pleasure to meet you in years back.
