Sherri Blue, 54, of Dumas, TX died on Monday, March 25, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Temple Baptist Church with Seth Seale officiating. Burial will follow at the Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.
Sherri was born on August 21, 1969 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Jim and Trudy Heppel. She graduated from Dumas High School in 1987. She earned a degree from Exposito School of Hair Design in cosmetology. She was a loving Memaw and her families biggest fan. She enjoyed watching her sons and grandsons play sports, reading, and cooking. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Sherri was preceded in death by a son, Braxton J. Blue; and her parents.
She is survived by her husband; Beau Blue of Dumas; a son, Micheal Blue and wife Ashley of Dumas; a sister, Carrie McCreary of McKinney; 4 grandchildren; Jayven, Breygan, Braison, and Easton; a nephew, Justin Hailey of Allen; In-laws, Steve and Patsy Blue; Ben Blue and Frankie; Karsyn Blue; Jeff Barr and family; and Boone Daniels and family, all of Dumas.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
