Sherry was born September 24, 1948, in Plainview, TX to Lorenzo and Wilma (Bennett) Cox. She was very loving and kind, and a good homemaker. Sherry loved her kids, granddaughter, and great-grandkids. She loved to cook and play Texas Hold-em.
Sherry had been married to Thomas Russ for thirty-seven years at the time of his death. She also was preceded in death by her spouse, Blake Lacy.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Russ; a daughter, Tonja Russ; granddaughter, Chaise Baker and husband Justin Hood; great-grandkids, Lola Lusk, and Brooklyn Hood; siblings, Larry Cox, Joy Sherrod, Dennis Cox, and Pamela Lane.
