IDK when I met Stanley. The Kennedys always lived at the end of the block on Cline. I moved there in 1952. It was a great neighborhood. Sleeping in someone’s backyard during the summer, especially great if you had one of those oil soaked canvas tents. Or building a Christmas Tree Fort in someone’s back yard, a lot of hours up and down alleys and dragging back trees. Once we found a pack of cigars, sick for days. Always exciting when someone got a new lawnmower because a mini bike wasn’t far behind with somebody’s old bike frame, but not Gary’s his was too nice and too maintained. And I’ll never forget Southlawn Park. Good memories with Stanley.
I don’t know when I first met Stanley, the Kennedy s were always down the street on Cline. It was a great place to grow up. Sleeping in different back yards in the summer. Building Christmas Tree Forts in different back yards. Always exciting when someone got a new lawn mower because a mini bike was soon to follow using the old motor and someone’s old bike, but never Gary’s bike it was too nice and too maintained to convert to a mini bike. Of course Southlawn Park all summer. Good memories that I will have always. Dean Webb
Such a great friend! We’ve only known him for about the last 10 years or so through our car club. But, grew very close to him once we moved and became his neighbor. He always had a get it done attitude and overcame many obstacles these last few years. Now he is completely healed and praising the Lord with his beloved daughter Kelly. RIP Stan, we’re sure going to miss you! David and Brenda Reese
Stanley was such a nice man. Growing up together at Southwest Church of Christ and all the same schools, I remember him as always a quiet friend with a smug little laugh! Paul and I loved Stan and his sweet family.
