  1. Dear Steve
I have just learned of your passing. The laughter and tears we shared will live on in my heart. I am saddened by not being there for you these past two years. You texted me three days after I lost my beloved son in a Horrific car accident. 2020 was a devastating year for me. I wasn’t in my right mind and pushed you away. I am so sorry. I send you love and peace in your afterlife.

  2. I’ve known Steve since his childhood, I married into the Sharp family, also the Sharps and Sullivans homesteaded in the early 1900s. My mother was Betty Sullivan Carter.
I hadn’t had contact with Steve after he left Colorado until about a year ago we became friends on Facebook. The friendship grew from that point. We communicated practically every day. He was a true friend and I miss his comments, pictures and conversations greatly. Until we meet again dear friend!❤️

  3. Steve and I worked together at Homecoming Financial in Dallas we had such a great friendship. I had the honor to photograph Steve at a beautiful park in Dallas. We had a great afternoon laughing and being silly. He always treasured those pictures and that day.
I will miss you my friend! 🙏

    1. Renee thank you for sharing that wonderful story about my brother. He absolutely loved all of his friends. If you’d like, please share some of the photos on his fb page.

  4. I cleaned Stephen’s house for the last 6 months he was with us. He was kind to me. We talked about anything and everything. No matter what I was going through he always had a kind word of encouragement. He became a friend and always put a smile on my face. He loved talking about how he missed being around the people he cared most about. He loved his family and friends more than anything in the world. He especially loved his little gigi. The light he shined on to the world will be deeply missed and I am thankful for being able to say I knew him.

    1. Caitlin thank you for sharing those kind words about our brother. It makes our hearts happy to know he made your time with him special. Thank you for caring for him ❤

  5. Steve’s sense of humour was the glue to our friendship of over 20 years even though we never met in person. While working at Coca-Cola together, him in Texas, me in Ontario, Canada, we formed our long-term friendship. When my granddaughter passed in January it was Steve who got me through. His empathy and compassion for others was so appreciated. I will miss you every day.
