Stephenie Mashburn, 64, of Amarillo, TX passed away on January 31, 2023, after a six-year battle with cancer.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, TX.

Stephenie was born Stephenie Renee Sisneros on November 26th, 1958, in Borger Texas. She was the oldest child of Raymond Sisneros and Paula Diamond. Stephenie was raised and attended school in Borger, Texas, where she met the love of her life Dell Mashburn. They were married in 1977 and soon moved to Amarillo. They welcomed 3 children, Tiffenie, Joshua, and Jason. Last year, Stephenie and Dell celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Meemaw.

Stephenie went to work for Workforce Solutions as a Development Specialist, where she loved to serve everyone who came in. Over the years, she also worked for Walmart where she enjoyed raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Stephenie was very active in the Red Hats where she served as the Queen Mum of the Panhandle Pretties. She devoted many hours to the Tri-State Speedway and was every racer’s biggest fan. Stephenie loved adventures, whether it was taking cruises, road trips or just driving around playing Pokemon Go. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family.

Stephenie was preceded in death by her brother Paul Shannon Sisneros, her father Raymond Sisneros, and stepfather George Diamond.

Stephenie is survived by her husband, Dell Mashburn; children, Tiffenie and husband Brett Cook, Joshua and wife Amanda Mashburn, Jason and wife Jennifer Mashburn, all of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren, Dominic Mashburn, Antonio Ortiz, Alejandro Ortiz, Colten Mashburn, Sully Mashburn, Karrah Mashburn, Gabriel Mashburn, Aymes Cook, and Axel Cook; mother Paula Diamond and stepmother Vickie Sisneros, both of Amarillo, Texas; siblings, Raymond Sisneros of Borger, Texas and Debbie and husband Billy Chowins of Borger, Texas.

  1. Stephenie was that person that always took care of those around her, no matter what the sacrifice was. She had a beautiful heart, and a caring spirit. Our prayers are with her family at this time of loss.
