Steven Lind Corbin, 65, of Dumas, TX died on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.
Steven was born on October 25, 1958 in Dumas to Stan and Bonita Corbin. He graduated from Dumas High School. He had worked as a postal carrier for 32 years until retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and coaching his sons baseball teams. He loved to read every word on plaques when he visited museums.
He married Jan DeWolfe on March 14, 1980.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elwyn and Delma Corbin, John D. and Lois McVicker; and his in laws, Paul and Margarette DeWolfe.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Corbin of Dumas; children, Beau (BJ) Corbin and wife Delane of Shallowater, TX., Lindsay Corbin of Dumas, Ryan Corbin and wife Courtney of Neosho, MO.; parents, Stan and Bonita Corbin of Dumas; sister, Shelly Burnett and husband Richard of Dumas; grandchildren, Tyler McCreary, Zoe and Jonathan Paredes, Zakery Corbin, Colter Corbin, Abrianna Corbin and Ethan Corbin; three great granddaughters, Amelia Beth Paredes, Jada Dawn Paredes, and Mila Jo Paredes; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Meals on Wheels,
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
