Suzanne “Suzy” Francis Stahl, 75, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on February 20, 2024.

Memorial services will be at 4:30 P.M., Friday, February 23, 2024, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Suzy was born in Pueblo, Colorado on October 22, 1948, to Margaret Elizabeth (Ryan) and Lewis Andrew Reynolds. She graduated from East High School in Pueblo, Colorado in 1967 and went on to attend Southern Colorado State College where she received a degree in nursing.

Suzy married Rick D. Stahl on September 24, 1971. They were married for 52 years. Their marriage was a testament to the enduring power of love and the importance of putting family above all else.

Suzy dedicated 5 decades of her life to working as a paralegal, with the majority of those years spent with Selden Hale. Her constant commitment and dedication to her work were evident in every case she handled and every client she served.

She was known as a dedicated professional, always going above and beyond in her work. But her true legacy went beyond her professional accomplishments. It was the love and support she showed to anyone who came to her for help. Suzy’s resolute belief in second chances guided her interactions with others, always giving people the benefit of the doubt and offering them a fresh start whenever possible.

Suzy was known for unwavering loyalty and fierce protectiveness when it came to her family and loved ones. She would go to great lengths to ensure their happiness and safety, always putting their needs above her own.

Her presence was like the North Star, always providing direction and guidance to her loved ones. Whether it was offering a listening ear, a comforting hug, or advice, Suzy was always there for her family, keeping them grounded and united. Her unwavering support and selflessness made her the heart and soul of her family, a constant source of love and stability that they all cherished and relied upon.

She is survived by her husband, Rick D. Stahl, of the home; son, Patrick Stahl and wife Lacy, of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Fisher Stahl and Baker Stahl of Amarillo, Texas; Sully Stahl and Murphy Stahl of San Antonio, TX; brother, Rod Reynolds and wife Mary of Lubbock, Texas; and sister-in-law Charlotte Gaither of Amarillo, Texas.
