Tammy Denise Missildine, 64, of Canyon, TX died Saturday, September 17, 2022.
Private services will be held. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Tammy was born December 31, 1957, in Amarillo, TX to Clifford and Wanda Missildine.
She graduated from Tascosa High School and worked in accounting for Gold Star Trust before retirement. She loved crafts and painting.
Survivors include her daughter, Tara Lang, of Celina, TN; a son, Tannar James and wife Rebecca, of Amarillo, TX; and four grandchildren, Preston Lang, Ross Lang, Jett James, and Wren James.
Tammy and I were friends over fifty years ago. My parents and her’s, Cliff and Margie, used to go dancing on the weekends. She and my siblings would hang out together. The first year I was in the Air Force she wrote to me often and we talked on the phone. We were close for a while and then I got orders for Southeast Asia. I think the last time I saw Tammy was the summer of 1972. I was sad to hear that Margie had passed away a few years ago. She was so full of life. RIP Tammy… I have only fond memories.
