Terry Lynn Hood, 62, of Amarillo, TX died on April 22, 2020.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic graveside services will take place at a later date.
Terry was born on January 6, 1958 to Sedalia and Joe Hood, Sr. in Olton, Texas. Terry graduated from Spinglake-Earth High School. He served in the United States Military for 6 years. Terry was a personal truck driver for over 25 years. He loved to be with family and enjoyed get-togethers.
Preceded in death by his father, Joe Hood, Sr.; mother, Sedalia Hood; and twenty-six brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his long-time girlfriend and fiancée, Jennifer Mitchell; six children, Jayden, Cailee, LaShonda, Terrence, Becky, and Shawn; one sister; four brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Amarillo VA Hospital or Jennifer Mitchell and family in Terry’s memory.
