Thomas “Glenn” Runion, 87, of Amarillo, TX passed away on November 7, 2022.
A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 13, 2023, At Central Church of Christ.
Thomas was born in Newbern, Tennessee on July 28, 1935, to Lexie and Anna Lee. Thomas was a US Army Cryptographer from 1954-1956 and was awarded the “National Defense” service medal. On June 8, 1957, he was married to Linda Runion. He graduated from Purdue University in 1959. He worked in Agriculture Sales until he retired in 1997. He was very active in the Republican Party. Thomas was a member of the Lions Club for many years. He loved to serve his church, family, friends, and community. Thomas never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by…His Parents, Lexie and Anna Lee Runion, 3 brothers, Clyde, Ralph, and Ronald Runion, and a son, Michael Runion.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Runion, and one son, Jeff Runion. 2 daughters in law, Janet Runion and Susan Runion, 3 grandchildren, Rebecca Stafford, Ashley Poplawski, and Tommy Runion, as well as a great-grandson, Rowen Stafford.
