  1. I just learned of Tim’s passing – almost 2 years afterwards. He and I were graduate students in psychology at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM in 1978-1980(?). I traveled with him twice to visit his mother Gladys in North Syracuse & Sandy Creek, NY. His sense of humor was outrageous and infectious. One vivid memory – among many others: After a long road trip from Portales to Tim’s hometown of North Syracuse, we pulled into his favorite grilled sausage stand. Customers would enter the small building, order their sausage, proceed to the exit, where the shelf of condiments stood, and then go outside to sit at picnic tables under the shade of several large trees. Tim never made it to the picnic table; as soon as he spread mustard on his sausage and bun, he ravenously devoured his sandwich right at the condiment shelf! In retrospect, I could appreciate Tim’s impatience: the sausages were superb, and the rustic ambience nostalgic. Best of all, Tim himself laughed about his uncontrollable dining etiquette.
Tim was a great buddy. I’m thankful that our paths crossed.

  2. Tim was a friend for many years dating back to our time working at Mental Health Resources, Inc. in Portales, NM in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. He loved to laugh and had a sharp wit, sometimes shocking us all into laughter. His smile and humor will be missed.
    RIP Tim

  3. Tim was a great friend. We met 41 years ago working for the Texas Panhandle Mental Health Authority working together for nine years. We took an immediate liking to each other. Tim’s wife Florence, and my wife Benita, were best friends. It’s a small world! Tim provided levity at work which kept many fellow employees in stitches. He helped sustain others, including myself, through many tough times. His humor lifted others. He will be sorely missed! He no doubt has God laughing now. May God truly bless him and give him peace!!
