Tomas Rangel, 88, of San Elizario, Texas passed away on April 9, 2022.
Rosary will be held at 2:00 P.M., followed by services at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Tomas was born in Benjamin, Texas on May 29, 1933, to Jose Rangel and Paula Garcia.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Antonia Rangel; sons, Tomas Rangel Jr., Jaime Rangel; daughter, Cesaría Flores; brothers, Fausto Rangel, Juan Rangel; and sister, Elena Rangel.
He is survived by; daughters, Maria Elena Rodriguez of Amarillo, TX, Margarita Garcia of Houston, TX, Leticia Rios of Abilene, TX, Sylvia Molina of Houston, TX, Patricia Rangel of Amarillo, TX, Carla Rangel of Amarillo, TX; Sons, Tomas Rangel, of Mexico, Joe Rangel of Houston, TX, Efrain Rangel of Borger, TX, Alfonso Rangel of Borger, TX; sister, Francisca Garcia of Delicias, Mexico; Twenty-nine grandchildren; Fifty-two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will be hosting a visitation on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from noon-8:00 P.M., at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, TX.
