On Sunday, April 2, 2023, Tommy Miller Broach, age 97, loving brother,

husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather & great, great grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home in Amarillo, TX.

Tommy, or Pal as he was known by most, was born June 13, 1926, in Amarillo, TX, to HC & Lois Broach. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1945-1947. He was also a longstanding Shriner. He worked his entire career for Southwestern Public Service Company as a chemist and spent his personal time in service of others. He married Norma Jean Webb on July 14, 1945, and they raised two children, Larry & Debbie.

Pal was an extraordinary man who never met a stranger. His quick wit and natural charm won the hearts of so many. He was kind, compassionate, giving, and loved by all blessed to have known him.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, HC; mother, Lois; sister, Betty, and husband, Ron; brothers HC, Jr. and Jim; great-granddaughter, Kristen Forsher; and his loving wife, Norma. He is survived by sister Jane McCaslin; son Larry Broach and wife Mary; daughter Debbie Sherman and husband Don; grandchildren Misty Savoy and husband Garrett; Jason Perdue and wife Jenny; Donna Adley; Matt Sherman and wife Tasha; Tracy Sherman and children Alaina and Tommy; great-grandchildren Blake and Kensley Perdue; Kresly, Jordyn and Declan; Kaleigh and Tim Montano and two great, great-grandchildren; also, adopted daughters and caregivers, Mary Laub and daughter Connie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 2 pm at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Amarillo. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Shriners Hospital in his name at donate.lovetotherescue.org. At the family’s request, please, no visitation at the family residence.
