Trena Sue Peace, 66, of Amarillo passed away August 6, 2023.

Trena was born April 16, 1957 in Amarillo, TX to Elbert Ray and Peggy Jean Peace. She was our baby girl of the family. Trena went to school in Amarillo most of her life and later attended Weatherford Community College. She worked in Arlington at K-Mart as a supervisor and later became a Pharmacy Technician. Years later, Trena moved back to her hometown of Amarillo and worked for Eckerds for some time. The last 15 years, she was the Office Manager for David’s Carpet and enjoyed working beside her brother.
Trena’s joy was spending time with family and friends; her favorite being birthday celebrations. Her hobbies were gardening, fishing, shopping and watching Soap Operas. Trena loved house sitting and taking care of her sister Bonnie’s pets.
She is preceded in death by Elbert Ray and Margaret Peace; and Peggy and Lloyd Monroe.
Trena is survived by Marty and Perry Ashpaugh of Canyon, TX, Ray and Debbie Peace of Burleson, TX, Bonnie and Bob Flesher of Flint, TX, Gary and Kim Peace of Bushland, TX, David Peace of Amarillo, TX, and Steve Rudd of Amarillo, TX.
In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in Trena’s memory.
I was privileged to get to know Trena through my brother, Steven Rudd. Trena was always sweet and pleasant and a great addition to Rudd family dinners. I also appreciate Trena’s many kindnesses to my Mother, Barbara Rudd. Trena will be greatly missed! The Peace family and Steve will be in my thoughts and prayers. Susan Groce
