Trina Frost Henderson

Trina was born in Pampa, TX and raised by her grandparents.  She attended West Texas State University in Canyon, TX where she earned a master’s degree in Elementary Education.  She was hired by the Amarillo Independent School District where she spent her entire career teaching fourth and fifth grade math.  While attending the university, Trina met her first husband, Robert Ashcraft.  They started a family together and had two sons, William and John.  Her dedication to teaching led to a memorable career.  She always had a love for all animals, especially horses.  She spent several years as the Assistant Director for the youth dinner theater at Polk Street United Methodist Church.  She was a dedicated member of Hillside Christian Church and loved singing in the choir on Sunday mornings.  The choir loved the devotionals she would present at Wednesday evening practices.  She loved her family and friends dearly and was generous and kind to everyone around her.

Trina was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Edna Rogers of Pampa, TX.  Also by her parents, Peggy Ormson of Edmond, OK and Max Frost of Findlay, OH.  As well as by her son, William Ashcraft of Amarillo, TX.  She was also preceded by her husband, Ken Henderson and her stepson, Alex Henderson, both of Amarillo, TX.
