Unity Ashleynn Lopez

Unity Ashleynn Lopez, 2 months, of Hereford, TX passed peacefully in the arms of her mother on Thursday, January 13, 2022.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, at HIS Church, 6300 Arden Rd., Amarillo.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  The family requests that masks be worn during this service.

Unity was born November 9, 2021, at Cook Children’s Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX.

During her short journey here on Earth, she touched many lives and was deeply loved by family and friends.  She had the most mesmerizing, big, brown eyes that made you fall in love even more.  Unity was our little heart warrior.  She will be deeply missed and always loved. Forever in our hearts, our “Sleeping Beauty”.  Sending her all the kisses in the world from Mommy and Sister.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Julio Lopez; cousins, Ashley, Levi, Rene, and Christian; and great-great-grandparents, Jesse and Elida Balderaz, Samuel and Carlota Valdez, and Pablo and Victoria Mireles.

Survivors include her mom, Alexis Lopez, of Hereford, TX; big sister, Aleyja Gaytan, of Hereford, TX; grandparents, Angel Lopez, and Yvonne and Jay Scott; great-grandparents, Guy and Gloria Balderaz, and Nina Gonzalez; aunts, Lanee, Amber, Regina, Angelina, Savannah and Joclynn; uncles, Ryan, J.J., Hayden, and Caiden; and many cousins.

Family visitation and prayer service will be from 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Power Church, 1344 SE 10^th Ave., Amarillo.   The family requests that masks be worn during this service.
