Wallace Baxter Vance, 64, of Amarillo, TX died February 28, 2020.

Cremation and arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Wallace was born in Amarillo, TX on February 8, 1956 to Warren and Patsy Vance. He graduated from Palo Duro High School.

Wallace owned Vance Refrigeration and Welding.

Survivors include his five sons, Jeff Vance and wife Stacy, of Marana, AZ, Matt Vance and wife Heather, of Marana, AZ, Mark Vance and wife Brittni, of Houston, TX, Wally Vance, of Sedalia, MO, and Joseph Vance and wife Lauren, of Amarillo, TX; mother, Patsy Vance, of Amarillo, TX; brother, Butch Vance, of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Mary Stansel and husband Craig, of Amarillo, TX, and Cindy Cowan and husband Charles; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

  1. So sorry to hear of the passing of Wally. I didn’t know him very much but I do remember him. His sister Cindy is my cousin so in a way we were related. I know he will be missed by all. R.I.P. Wally.

And LORD thank you for allowing me to have spent time with him he make a great difference in my life he was mild in spirit and sweet in tense times.   3. I’m so sorry for loss. wallace lived the next street over from me in hamlet and I would see him all the time .he was very sweet and I’m sure he will be missed

  5. I was proud to call you friend…I remember giving you haircuts when Mike & I lived in Tierra Grande back in 82-83..We have known you and your family a long time.   6. I’m so sorry to hear about Wally passing. There was a whole group of us who hung together back in the 70s. Richard Boles Joe Dowdy Charlie Allen Phillip Conway Brenda Morford I know I’m missing many more. We all had a lot of great time Going to Thomson park the lake or having parties at our friends house. It was great times. We all stood up for each other and new we could depend on each other!! Rest In Peace Brother you will be missed!! Sheila Price Wetmore
