Wesley Allen, 103, of Amarillo, TX passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Craig Chapel with Lane Boyd, Chaplain, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Wesley was born on March 20, 1920, in Belfast, Northern Ireland to Mary and David Allen. He had worked in sales for Scott’s Paper Company in Canada before his retirement and was a veteran in the Canadian Army.
He married Thelma Inez Wangle on April 26, 2000, in Fort Myers, Florida. They attended The Craig Chapel Church.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Molly in 1999.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Thelma Inez Allen; son, Wesley Dale Allen; daughter, Maureen and husband Brian Irvine; daughter, Julia and husband James Hamous; grandchildren, Shannon and husband Brian Buchanan, Sean Allen, and Joshua Hamous and wife Jamie; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Buchanan, Brook Buchanan, Cassidy Monette, Konner Hamous, Alexis Hamous-Miller, Reid Hamous-Lusk, Brayden Hamous, Grayson Hamous, Samuel Hamous, and Jana Hamous.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Rolanda, Celeste, and Maria for their loving care of Papa Wes.
