
William “Cory” Isbell, 52, of Amarillo, TX passed away on June 25, 2022.
Celebration of life services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 9, 2022, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Damon Akins officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Cory was born in Rocky Ford, CO on February 14, 1970, to Susan Kay and William George Isbell. He graduated from Crowley County High School in 1988. On June 17th, 1995 Cory married Tami Lynn Isbell in Castle Rock, CO. On December 8, 1998, Cory and Tami welcomed the first of their three children, William “Chase” Isbell, into the world. Two years later, Cade Reese Isbell, their second child, was born on March 5, 2001. Cory and his family moved from Colorado to Texas where they settled into the Panhandle. Colter Jacob Isbell, their youngest child, was born on July 28, 2007. Cory spent the last 17 years working at Crist Fuel in Wildorado, TX. His love of sports lasted throughout his life from playing himself during his early years to coaching and watching his son Cade play later in life. However, what Cory loved most was spending time with his family and supporting his three children and their passions. Cory was a beloved member of his communities where his sense of humor and generosity touched the lives of many people.
He was preceded in death by his father, William George Isbell.
Survivors include his wife Tami Isbell and their three children, Chase Isbell, Cade Isbell, and Colter Isbell of Amarillo, TX. Mother, Susie Isbell and Russell of Swink, CO. Step-mother, Linda Isbell of Thornton, CO. Sister Cassie Rinker, her husband Corey, and their children Cash and Carlie of Eaton, CO. Sister Shawn Maloney, her husband Bob of Castle Rock, CO and their son Trent and his fiancé Allie of Parker, CO. Father-in-Law Chuck Jacobson and Brother-in-Law Todd Jacobson of Wildorado, TX.

I was devastated to hear about the loss of Cory!!!! Let me know if there is a trust fund for the children!!!
