Zachary “Zach” Earl Taylor, 27, of Amarillo, Texas entered eternal life on October 2, 2021.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 11, 2021, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating.  Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Zach was born on June 2, 1994 in Dumas, Texas to Ricky Taylor and Paula O’Daniel. From the moment Zach was born, he captured all of our hearts with his huge eyes and mischievous grin. He was full of energy and charisma making it difficult to say no to him when he gave you that unique side-eyed grin Zach will always be remembered for. Zach was outgoing, funny, free-spirited, upbeat and never let anything bring him down. Zach definitely marched to a beat of his own drum making many friends along the way. Zach lived most his life in Amarillo, Texas where he graduated from Caprock High School in 2012. Zach’s love for life will be forever cherished and he will be greatly loved and missed by his family and friends.

Zach was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Dario and Arlene Encinias; Nora Taylor; Billy Taylor; Great-Grandparents: Norma Lee Collier; Lonnie Collier, Sr.; Aunt: Makeebra Smith; and Uncles: Harold Collier; Kevin Smith; Lonnie Collier, Jr (aka LC); Jerry Collier; and his Great-Aunt Mary Archuleta and Uncle Mike Amador, who he shared a special bond with and loved dearly.

Zachary is survived by his daughter, Zavary Finch; his parents: Paula and Roy O’Daniel; Ricky and Kim Taylor; three sisters: Kolbi Graves; Kylee Graves; and Kortnie Taylor; two brothers: Chase O’Daniel and Kylar O’Daniel, all of Amarillo, Texas; as well as grandparents, Tommy and Vicky Willis.

Zachary is also survived by his niece, Ja’Mariah Harris and nephew, Ayden Walker as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

  1. Zach, it’s been over a year and I still miss you dearly, I remember when I moved to Caprock you were my first first friend.. I remember your ring you got from bushland and just how nice you were. How we would get in my car for lunch with crew or going to your house Zack I just me miss u my friend. TWINK! I hope your still flying high my friend I love you and I will always remember everything your never forgotten. I’ll see you when you open them gates my frkend.

  3. Zach, you changed my life from the minute you came into to it to minute I found out you left it. My brain and heart are struggling to accept that you are gone. My heart will forever have a piece missing. I know Grandma and Popo will watch out for you until I can be with you. I will always and forever miss and love you more than you will ever know.
