Harriet Vi Pollreisz, 93, of Canyon, TX died Monday, January 25, 2021.
Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Harriet was born January 5, 1928, in East Moline, IL to Eugene and Harriet Hoehn. She lived on a farm in Illinois from 1973 to 2011, when she moved to Amarillo, TX. For more than 35 years, Harriet worked in administration for Deere & Co. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hampton, IL and belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church, Amarillo, TX. She loved her church and her family and enjoyed her dogs, cats, and horses.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony “Chuck” Pollreisz; a sister, Ramona Meersman; and brother, Richard Hoehn.
Survivors include her son, John Pollreisz, of Bushland, TX; a sister, Judith Konitzer and husband Frank, of Vero Beach, FL; grandsons, Brandon Pollreisz and wife April, of Amarillo, TX, Tony Pollreisz and wife Elizabeth, of San Antonio, TX, and Evan Pollreisz, of Lubbock, TX; and five nieces and nephews.
