Jose B. Serna, 64, of Vega, TX died Friday, November 13, 2020.
On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd., viewing will began at 9:00 A.M. and continue until 5:00 P.M. followed by a Rosary starting at 6:00 P.M. in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.
Jose was born May 29, 1956, in Sinton, TX to Cipriano and Luz Serna. He was a retired truck driver. He had a passion and love for working on cars. He enjoyed Fishing along with Barbecuing. He was a man of action never one to just speak always meant what he said. Football season was the best he loved his Dallas Cowboys!
Survivors include four daughters, Idelle Resendez, Stephanie Martinez (John), Kimberly Serna (JohnDavid), and Shawnna Serna all of Amarillo, TX; three sons, Christopher Alderete, Joe Serna (Erica), and Zeke Serna (Athelia), all of Amarillo, TX; his girlfriend Rosie Mireles of Amarillo, TX; four brothers, Juan Serna of Austin, TX, Cipriano Serna Jr., Mauricio Serna, and Raul Serna of Amarillo, TX; sisters, Esmeralda Morquecho of Amarillo, TX, Sylvia Trejo of Houston, TX, Susie Rodriguez, and Melissa Flores, both of Amarillo, TX; he had twenty-two grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and many uncles and aunts.
