Martha (Marty) Taggart, 79, of Amarillo, TX passed away on August 9, 2021. A memorial Service will be held at Village Park Church on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.
Marty, also known as MiMi to many, was born on March 26, 1942 in Pueblo, Colorado to Ruby and Warren Schmittel. She was a long-time resident of Amarillo, TX and worked at Cecil’s Bar & Grill. She loved her dogs and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son Jeff Cramer, her brother Budd Schmittle, her parents Ruby and Warren Schmittle, and her grandson Braxton Weatherly.
She is survived by 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
