Wanda Jean Heckman, 81, of Amarillo, TX died on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 26, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Burial will be at Citizen’s Cemetery in Clarendon, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.
Wanda was born on May 26, 1939 in Silverton, TX to Melvin and Mary Heckman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, and nephew.
Survivors include one son, Johnny Layne Winkler and wife, of Jacksonville, NC; daughters, Rhonda and husband, of Enid, OK, and Connie LaMasters and husband, of Amarillo; sister, Gloria Wetroski, of Amarillo; brother, Louis Heckman and wife, of Montgomery, TX; seven grandsons; and three granddaughters.
I always enjoyed being around Mrs. Winkler(how I knew her). She was always so sweet, kind, and caring all the times I spent the night with Rhonda. I pray God eases your pain and lightens the load on your hearts. Becky Green
