
Frank Kinsey, 91, of Amarillo, died Saturday, February 12, 2022.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 18, 2022 at Community Church in Vega, Texas with Jim Watkins officiating. Burial will be at 10:15 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Frank was born on November 29, 1930 in Adrian, Texas to Ella Lee and Henry Alven Kinsey. He had been a farmer and rancher. He married Peggy Rodgers on October 14, 1950 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She preceded him in death in 2015.
He enjoyed woodworking, leather and tinkering.
He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Rusty; granddaughter, Bailey; sister, LaVerne; and his brother, Gene.
Frank is survived by a daughter, Beverly Benton and husband Charles of Logan, NM; three sons, Montie Kinsey and wife Debbie of Vega; Ricky Kinsey and wife Clara of Vega; and Kevin Kinsey and wife Teddra of Florida; brother, Marion Kinsey and wife Jessie of Amarillo; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
My condolences to the family. Perry and I loved him and we knew he loved us. What a great reunion is taking place in heaven!
I’m so sorry to hear Frank passed away 91 years in this world I’m so glad I got to be part of his life , he was always so nice & kind to me , I know he will be missed by his family , God Bless you all
