Jayden Wesley Ott, 17, of Amarillo, TX passed away on January 29, 2021.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 6, 2021, at MORE Church. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Jayden was born in Amarillo, TX on April 16, 2003, to Kristie Kiser and John Ott.

Jayden was a very talented soul, at ten years old he would grab his guitar and go door to door and sing to everyone. He will be remembered as putting smiles on sad faces. Yes, he lived a short life, but he lived every minute of it.

Jayden was an amazing singer, guitar player, and drummer. Music was the world to him. “Music to the soul is like words to the mind.”

Survivors include his mother, Kristie Kiser; father, John Ott; grandmothers, Toni Kiser, and Dale Ott; great-grandmother, Lois Granger; brothers, Jon Kiser, Johnny Ott, and Jodie Ott; sisters, Crystal Ott, Bayleigh Ott, and Brooke Ott; uncles, Billy Kiser, and Bruce Kiser; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless additional family members and friends.

    I just found out today. I remember y’all coming in to Texas Tech with Jayden & the boys.
    I always Loved visiting with you & watching them grow up. My heart aches for you & your family. I’m praying for God to comfort you all.

  2. Kristie my heart breaks for you. I’m so sorry to hear Jayden passed away. I remember when Jayden & MacKenzie first met over on Monroe St. They were instantly friends. I remember the first time he went door to door in the neighborhood playing his guitar & singing!! I very sorry for your loss sweetie😢 May he Rest In Peace 🙏

Jayden was very talented at almost everything he did I’m sad to find out he passed the way he did I pray that the family doesn’t have to go threw this heartache again I hope to see you again Jayden. His brother was best man at my wedding and it was nice that him and him mom brother Jodie and grandmother all came even though my marriage didn’t work out they were and still are considered family. With much love
