Peggy Faye Dunlap, 77, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, March 3, 2021.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with John Van Hoose officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Peggy was born March 11, 1943, in Floydada, TX to James and Ollie Dunlap. She graduated from Plainview High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from West Texas State College.

She worked for Medley Material Handling for fifty years. Peggy was a talented artist and member of the Golden Spread Chapter Society of Decorative Painters for over 45 years where she held all of the offices. She also was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her sister, Theresa Slone and husband George; a niece, Sundee J. Mahone and husband Cliff; a nephew, Jason T. Rueb and wife Pam; great-nieces, Candee Hoggatt and Chantel Keller; great-nephew, James Rueb; and great-great-nephew, Nathan Rueb.

  1. Peggy was the sweetest person and the best friend anyone could have. She was always there when you needed her and always knew exactly what to say. I will miss our visits and adventures.

  2. Peggy was a wonderful person and a pleasure to work with. She will be missed. Prayers to her family she has left here, but I know she will be one of the angels now looking after the rest of us just from heaven instead of here . love and prayers Joy

  3. My prayers are with Theresa and the family. We know now she’s out of pain and in the arms of Jesus. I only met Peggy once but just loved her the minute we met. My grandson really to a liking to her also. May Jesus give you comfort over the next days and months. I’m here if you need anything. Love you all.😢🌹💕

    We always loved seeing Peggy on our visits to Medley Equipment in Amarillo~
    She was always such a pleasure to be around~
    The one thing that always comes to mind, was how respectful Peggy was to my dad (Bill Medley) & my grandfather (Joe Medley)
