  3. I never heard an unkind word about my close friend Stan Harrison. If you remember the show “the odd couple” that was our friendship. He picked on me, I picked on him. One evening we were talking on the phone ready to hang up from a friendly visit. I announced to Stan “Stan my man, I love you” there was nothing but silence on the other end.
I knew then I used the L word improperly, my next comment was I love you like a brother A@#&^*%. Then we both laughed, and quickly hung up the phone. I WILL MISS YOU BROTHER.

  7. Stan you were one of a kind buddy. From our times in Jr High when you had gotten a chemical set and we first started trying to blow stuff up…. to our hilarious years in high school…. to the recent times when we visited on the phone, emailed one another and talked about our hot rods and what we were gonna do with them next….you were always an influence for the eternal good in life. I’m gonna miss you my friend and as our good mutual friend Kent said, I already do. Your family is certainly in our prayers and I am asking God to bless all of them and all who knew you. Rest in Peace brother.

  8. Stan was a long-time dear friend who was always ready to share a story or to listen with an understanding ear. We had the pleasure of meeting every few weeks for years with him and his son, Jason, for “boys’ lunch” at various local Amarillo bistros along with friends Rick Thamer, Dean Frigo and me to offer our opinions on how to solve the world’s problems. Stan’s presence and friendship will be missed deeply for all of us who knew him. He will continue to be remembered in our hearts.
