Jerry was born on October 3, 1946 to Jack and Clara Foster. She grew up in Tulia, Texas where she met and fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Richard Ringo.  Richard and Jerry got married on March 7, 1965.  They were married for 55 years.  During that time, they built a beautiful family together.  They loved big and taught their children, Randy, Jackie, and Jerry Clark to do the same. Jerry worked in many jobs but her favorite by far was working as a paraprofessional for Amarillo Independent School District.  She loved to work with the special needs kids and had a true love for each child.  When she was not working, she loved to tear up the dance floor in her younger years.  Jerry loved each of her grandchildren with all her heart. Grandma and Grandad rarely missed an event for any grandkid. She loved to sit on the porch swing and watch the birds.  She loved all of her pets, and there were many.  She loved Country music especially George Strait.  She thought he was a handsome guy.  She enjoyed watching Westerns on TV and was a faithful fan of Young and The Restless.  She thought it was a treat to get her nails and toes done and rarely missed an appointment.  She has an amazing family that will miss her daily.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Ringo; son, Randy Ringo and his husband Ramon LaPenta; daughter, Jackie Selman and her husband Gaylon; son, Jerry Clark Ringo and wife Julie; grandchildren, Lauren, Lacye, Leighson, and Langstyn Selman, Austin Ringo and wife Vannessa, Avrey Ringo and wife Stormey, Emilie Betzen and husband Jordan, Abbie Chapmond, Creighton Ringo, and Faith Ramonez; great-granddaughter, Brileigh Ringo; great-grandson, Weston Chappell; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

  13. My heart breaks for my Uncle Richard and cousins Randy, Jackie & Jerry Clark and their families. Every year for many years we looked forward to going to Amarillo and spending time with our Texas family, and we always enjoyed staying at their house and Aunt Jerry putting up with us, she will be sorely missed. My Dad was very protective of me growing up, and Uncle Richard and Aunt Jerry were the only ones he entrusted me with, and that tells a lot.
