Marilyn Sue Noblett, 75, of Amarillo, TX passed away on December 31, 2021.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 7, 2022, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Marilyn was born in Dalhart, TX on January 17, 1946, to Bonnie and Archie Floyd. She grew up in Dalhart, TX and graduated for Dalhart High School in 1963.

Marilyn worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. Then mid-life, she followed her passion and pursued a degree in Nursing. She loved her patients and her patients loved her. She also was an animal lover and storm chaser.

Marilyn was married to Gary Noblett for 22 years and was proud to be a Law Enforcement Officer’s wife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Noblett; parents, Bonnie Bradley and Archie Floyd; and brother, Charles Floyd.

Survivors include her three children, Dee Hooley, Monica Bort, and Kenny Gupton and wife Shayna; eight grandchildren, Toshia Hooley, Summer Powell, Kaileh Gupton, Britnee Farley, Hagen Gupton, Caleb Bort, and Lexi Gupton; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Christine Barone, and Sammie YanStory; brother, Alan Floyd; her beloved four-legged fur babies; and many nieces and nephews.

  2. I’ve known Marilyn my whole life. We spent a lot of time at a place called Middlewater, TX. We were either at her grand parents house, Willie and Nora Nagel, or our house, Red and Babe Smith. I know her whole family, and she knew my whole family.

    I think about ya’ll, and am so sorry for the loss of Marilyn and Charles.

  4. Marilyn Sue my heart is broken. I miss and love you so much. I am so glad that you came to Albuquerque for Thanksgiving. I did receive the pecan fruit cake you sent me. Rest In Peace until we meet again.

  8. So hard to see her beautiful smiling face and still wrap my head around this. I know she is in heaven with Grandma Bonnie, Grandpa and Dad (Charles Floyd). I love you Aunt M!! I will miss talking to you and seeing your silly posts on Facebook. Until we meet again…
