Paul Alan Woolley, 81, of Amarillo, TX, died on February 24, 2022.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, February 28, 2022,  at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Rob Blum officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. 

Paul was born in Beaver County, Oklahoma, on December 17, 1940, to Elmer and Elsie Woolley. 

Paul attended a trade school in Wichita, Kansas, and studied to be an electrician.  This is where he met the love of his life and married Joyce Butz, on February 11, 1962.  Together they had three children, Tonya, Tina, and Tim.

Paul worked for Hughes Air West and TWA. He continued to take electrical classes until he received his Master Electrician License.  Paul also worked for the City of Dumas as their electrician until he retired in 2008.  Paul loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Elsie Woolley, siblings, Kenneth Woolley, Walter Woolley, and Leona Woolley Redinger Treat; and one grandson, Garrett Rex.

Paul is survived by his wife, Joyce Woolley; children, Tonya Rice and husband Loy; Tina Rex and fiancé, Justin Boyd; Tim Woolley and wife Heather, all of Amarillo; brother, Clarence Woolley and wife Donna; grandchildren, Kyra and Derek Skipworth, Torey and Sarah Mahanay, Kelcee and Andrew Webb, Jaedyn Woolley, Kaleb Rice, and Thaxton Boyd; great-grandchildren, Brailyn Skipworth, Callaway Skipworth, Scarlett Mahanay, Benjamin Webb, Watson Mahanay, Graham Webb, Eastyn Mahanay, and Chandler Webb.

    I will always remember our great times in Arizona together. Was a long time ago… but seems like yesterday.
