Rodney Yarbrough, 72, of Amarillo, TX died December 25, 2020.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at South Georgia Baptist Church.

Rodney was born in Haskell, TX on January 14, 1948, to Rosalee and Glendon Yarbrough. He had worked as a barber for many years in the Abilene area. He had also worked for Coca Cola, Sam’s Club, and AISD in maintenance. He was a long-time Amarillo resident.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Yarbrough, of Amarillo, TX; daughters, Julie Fisher, of Cold Springs, TX, Kerri Shubert, of Amarillo, TX, and Heather Mendoza, of Amarillo, TX; son, Rodney Yarbrough II and fiancée Krystal Moore, of Amarillo, TX; and seven grandchildren.

  1. Thank you for all your kinds words and prayers for our family. We are sadden by this sudden loss. He had been sick for awhile but now he is with our parents and family before us well and breathing and celebrating in his Heavenly home!

  3. Rodney was a great person, when he worked for Coke and I worked for United , I always enjoyed him and his sense of humor, he could have you in a good mood if you were having a bad day. The world was a better place with Rodney in it!
