Bobbie Euvaughan White St. John, 95, died September 12, 2021, in Amarillo from complications after a fall.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 17, 2021, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. Howard K. Batson officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Bobbie was born on August 12, 1926, in Roscoe, Texas to Edward Carpenter White and Mineola (Minnie) Gillispie White. She was a graduate of Albany High School, Albany, Texas, and married her childhood friend and soulmate, Henry Doyle St. John, Jr. in March 1944. In 1981, Doyle was killed in an automobile accident. They were married 37 years and had two daughters Sandy St. John Currie and Donna St. John Scott.

Bobbie was known for her baking and everyone enjoyed her fabulous pecan pies. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Amarillo. Most recently she served as President of her local PEO chapter-Texas State Chapter, Chapter FM in Amarillo.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Doyle St. John, Jr.; her parents; a sister, Eula Mae Garrison Borger, TX; and brothers, Jesse Carpenter White, Sr., Albany, TX, and George Edward White, San Antonio, TX.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandy Currie and husband Dr. Hugh Bob Currie, Amarillo, and Donna Scott, Ft. Worth, TX; three grandsons, Jeff Scott and wife Jamie (Parker, Colorado), Matt Scott and wife Lauren (Ft. Worth), and Kyle Scott (Dallas); and five great-grandchildren, Shep, Charlie and Sully (Parker, CO), and Tripp and Stella Kate (Ft. Worth); a sister-in-law, Marza White; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church-Family Life Center, Paralyzed Veterans of America or a favorite charity.
