Darlene was born on April 19, 1952, in Denver, CO to Thelma A. Brewster.

She enjoyed her childhood days playing on her Uncle Buster’s farm in Silverton. Darlene’s funniest and best stories came from those days on the farm. She was a lover of all animals, nature, and plants.

Darlene was the saving grace to friends, family, and animals during their hardest times. She enjoyed cruising country roads to take in the sights both old and new, shooting guns, archery, and teaching these skills to her kids and grandkids. She always had the best time pulling pranks on her boys and grandkids, always keeping us laughing with her orneriness and fun.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Brewster.

Darlene is survived by her sons, Chris Hill and wife Melissa, and Michael Hill and wife Jennifer; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a very special aunt, Betty Jo and husband Don Brown; sisters inlaw Karol Hill, Virginia Hill niece Debbie Hill and numerous cousins.

  2. Love you mom and will miss you dearly I will miss your long to do list that you would give me once a week or grocery list and out forever remember some of your last words to me “it’s life baby@

  3. I will miss this woman dearly. She invited me off the streets no questions asked when I was hurting. I am friends with one of her grandchildren who , growing up became a sibling to me. She became like my own grandmother. My sobriety and hope started with her calling me out and proving to me that I was worth love and greatness. So I will miss you grandma, to the ends of the earth I love you. Rest easy beautiful angel.
