  1. About David, most gratefully I remember just how fond of him were my parents Ada and Edgar Coons in Texhoma. When he back from Japan in 1961 to go to Amarillo College, they upgraded to effectively his parents too. For them he and later RuNell too were a major joy in their later years.

  2. I remember family gatherings with many fascinating stories Uncle David would share about his broadcasting career which somehow would lead to occasional discussions on Star Trek technology and science fiction theories. David you will be missed, but remembered in spirit through your incredible experience children and grand children.

  3. My heart goes out to the family and please know, I may not be able to attend the services, but I am with you nonetheless.

  4. Dave was one of the fortunate people who knew what they want to pursue in life and had the exceptional skills to follow through. I will never see a television or an electronic gadget without thinking of my intelligent and talented big brother. You have left a big hole in my heart and I miss you.
